As a person that is not typically very dedicated towards many things I feel like creating something that will showcase my dedication towards running will keep me focused on my goal of running every day for the next 365 days. Wish me luck.

Today I went out pretty late, it was already dark so I went out to the local college for an interval style workout to work on my lung capacity.

I jogged for a mile as a warm up in 7:11. Then I stretched, making it 10:11.
My workout then consisted of a 6x400 with rests in between.

From there I cooled down with a 4:25 800 meter jog.

  1. Jenni- i would say to lower the resting time dont you think? like maybe have 2 minute flat as a rest, and how much effort did you put? also did u take heart rate?

  2. Well the point was to work on my lung capacity so the rests were slightly longer, if I were doing this for speed I would have done shorter rests. I did not take my pulse or anything but I would assume that I was in the 85th percentile. I did try pretty hard because I'm still pretty out of shape.
